The room had fantastic views of the old town and there were plenty of breakfast options available, which was really good.

This stunning hotel surpassed any idea of what I had expected. The setting in the little town of Maratea is amazing. The hotel kept yielding more surprising beautiful areas for relaxation at every corner you turned. The fact that it was once a Nunnery in the 715's adds to its charms. The rooms are bright and airy and the entire hotel iis beautifully decorated. The staff was wonderful We enjoyed the pool and the wonderful food. I hope to return here again and again.

The hotel is romantic, nestled in a very pretty building with a perfect location. Excellent service and the food is outstanding! Also, they offer parking on site.

The stay was very relaxing, the location is fantastic with a lovely view, and they have a restaurant for both breakfast and dinner, which was a nice retreat during hot weather.

There was a wedding during our stay and we could not utilise the restaurant or the pool. The wedding guests had use of these areas.

We had a wonderful stay in a hotel overlooking the historic town, with idyllic views of the terracotta roofs and church belfry's against a backdrop of mountain greenness. the staff, especially the young waitress in the restaurant, were friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and comfortable, with fresh sheets to die for. the breakfast on the terrace was beautiful, with a wonderful selection to choose from. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the piazza and a challenging but rewarding hike up to the statue atop the mountain.

The staff at La Locanda Delle Donne Monache were extremely friendly and helpful. From the moment we entered the hotel they took care of everything, from parking our car to taking our bags to our room. They were always available for information about Maratea and willingly gave of their time. The hotel is in a great location and has a lovely pool beside the restaurnat where you can relax your days away. I want to thank all the staff for their freindliness and look forward to returning. I recommend a visit to Maratea as it is a lovely quiet town between the mountains and the sea.

The value for money at this hotel was outstanding. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had breathtaking views of the mountains. The location was perfect, and the staff treated us like family.

The restaurant here was great for breakfast and dinner, offering delicious dishes, and the room amenities like a hairdryer and bath sheets were very convenient, making for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

The hotel was beautiful and set just above the town of maratea. The service by the pool and in the restaurant was excellent. Food very good. Excellent stay.

Also during the second time that we stayed in this hotel we enjoyed the location, the nice room (although rather small), the swimmingpool and the ok beakfast. A very pleasant place to stay for one or two nights especially when you can use the favorable rate. The beach where you can stay for free (only paying for the parking ticket) is very beautiful (especially a bit off season) and wonderful for swimming in the sea.
